"This lodge is one of the most outstanding places I have had the pleasure of experiencing, and hope to return yearly. Astonishingly, the photos do not do this place justice. The organization, care, and attention to detail are all impeccable. We hosted a reunion/retreat for friends across the country and we could not have made better memories or have been better cared for. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen was wonderful for making food together and cooking for large groups— Well equipped, well laid out, well labeled. There’s even a second fridge on the lowest level if you need it for either keeping drinks cool, or for spare ingredients. So many details and everything you could need— same goes for the laundry, too. You feel like you’re at home, but so much better. The layout and grounds allow people to both be together and have space for themselves. It perfect for really connecting and spending quality time with people you love. Plenty of space to eat, both inside and outside. Plenty of spots and nooks to gather in. The view is… spectacular. Everything is organized and beautiful and clean, and rich with heirlooms and cabin culture. The sauna, trails, lake, chance to fish and bird watch, fire pits, view, trees, art, balconies— an absolute slice of heaven. We loved watching the groundhog who loves to eat dandelions! The lodge itself has a presence— literally built from the trees it is surrounded by, and you can feel it as soon as you enter. It truly takes your breath away. Somehow it is both grand and cozy, both stimulating and restorative simultaneously. And the natural light was beautiful. Truly a magical place. Thank you for having us!"
